Ali Love at Santa Monica Beach

I’ve been meaning to shoot with Ali for close to a year. We finally got around to it a few weeks ago and here are the results of a rather short, but fun shoot. I brought one of my favorite 35mm film cameras with me — the Argus C3 Rangefinder. I’ve been told the C3 is the camera that made 35mm film popular back in the 1930s-60s. It’s a terribly difficult camera to use with its tiny dual viewfinders, bulkiness, and manual only operation, but it never ceases to amaze me.
